I love the schematic above: it suggests that you find you by finding who you are not. Sometimes this is hard to face up to, and can be a tough way to learn.

I first came across this concept in the chapter "Circles", from Ra Bonewitz's "The Cosmic Crystal Spiral". It was a book I read very early on in my metaphysical explorations. It has stayed with me all this time.
